Armstrong is a lovely, small farming community with a pleasing blend of country activities and outdoor recreation.

The town's authentic western look is complemented by its heritage buildings, shady streets and huge country fair grounds (home of the Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede which has been in operation since 1899).
